Frequently Asked Questions

What’s happens after I click Book Now?

Well done, you’re committed. You will receive a document with your Extreme-Tours Discount Code, with all the details and information to pay your deposit and secure your tour.

If you’d like more information before booking click the “make inquiry” button. Here you can ask us anything you wish, and we endeavour to answer your questions.

Some of our tours partners and children are allowed to join without taking part in the activity, or can partially take part for a fee. Details of this should be provided on each tour page if it does so. For example, on some of our trips a couple travelling on a paramotor tour, only one of them may be trained to paramotor, however the guide can use his tandem and fly your partner for the duration or sections of the tour so they won’t miss out. Also you can ask us directly by clicking the “make inquiry” button.

You will know your limits, and you will know what your capabilities are. Participating in activities that we offer will require a decent level of fitness as a whole.

The prices and what they offer vary a little depending on the tour itself. But as a whole the cost usually covers our tour, accommodation, food (some fully catered, some partial) tour guides, beverages and refreshments on some tours during day activities. Airport transfers to and from, transportation, and goodie bags with t-shirts/hats etc . Our Egypt tour this year covers day tours within the overall price, so no additional costs to pay for tours. Please note all above is just an overview and each tour will vary.

It’s always our aim to maximize your trip. Some itineraries will have additional tours added as extra for your entertainment (fee applies) and some will be part of the overall package. All depending on which tour you choose, as some tours will keep you busy all day, and some will leave you some pleasurable time to do additional exploring. See your itinerary.

We don’t hold medical records  for everyone, only you will know what vaccinations you have had in the past. You will need to review the country’s advice or requirements, as they vary from which continent and country you will be travelling from. This is available online. If you require some vaccinations you will need to do this before you travel.

What is the typical group size on the adventure?

Group sizes are never large in numbers, meaning a more intimate tour to get to know everyone individually. Numbers can vary depending on your tour of choice.

Of course you will likely know what clothing is suitable for your chosen trip, however you will be given more specifics once you have made contact with your guide. They will have a detailed list of what to bring and what will suit your needs.

When you book your flight, it will be your responsibility to book your visas. Each country has different visa requirements. For example, in some countries you pay a fee on arrival at the airport. Some countries will require a visa if you’re from one continent, and not if you’re from another. And others you will be expected to buy an e-visa online before you travel. Permits for additional i.e. access into national parks etc are usually part of your tour price.

Even Extreme-Holidays can’t control the weather, but don’t worry. Most of our tours are chosen specifically for the time of year to maximize the trip in that country. But if there is an adverse weather day, additional activities will be offered to keep you busy, or you may choose to chill.

Some tours you will need to be qualified and trained and asked to produce these documents (i.e Paragliding, Paramotoring, Kitesurfing etc) Others you will be instructed and guided by expert guides. All guides are experienced for your safety. Some tours you will be given specific PPE, and others you will be asked to bring your own with you. For example a paraglider pilot will bring his own glider and reserve that will be safe to fly.

We try to be adaptable; however our guides have to withhold your spot. Once you have made a deposit of payment most often any cancellation will often mean the loss of your deposit. However mitigating circumstances may be possible to use that deposit to use on the following available trip if you can’t make your date.
