Wind Conditions

El Salvador has over 300 flyable days in a year. Wind patterns typically rotate from NE winds in the early hours, East winds around mid day, and Southerly winds in the afternoon. The afternoon laminar south/southwest winds makes conditions along the coastline very pleasant to fly in. The wind blows on average between 5-15 mph during the day. Conditions at the coast are welcoming for pilots of all levels.
